Robert, as he likes to called, continues to work as a consultant engineer and researcher whilst building up the second theme to his career, undertaking expert legal work. However, Robert continues to be engaged as a technical writer from companies and individuals requiring help in the generation and compilation of technical documentation to helps customers, engineers and lay people understand complex technical detail relating to the use of a product or services. Contracts have included online help, manuals (system, end-user, training), white papers, design specifications, project plans, test plans, business correspondence, etc. With the rise of e-learning, Robert has also been charged with creating online training for an audience of learners.
